Quick and Easy Oatmeal Container Redo

Instead of spending more money on pretty containers, why not turn some trash into organizing treasure? This is a super easy, super fast DIY that requires no real crafty skills whatsoever.

Materials

Empty container

Pretty paper (I used Rifle Paper Co.’s Midnight Floral Wrapping Paper from Paper Source).

Scissors

Pen or pencil

Tape or glue

Acrylic paint and paint brush for the lid (optional)

Carefully remove the label from the container.

Use the label as a guide to measure and cut out the new paper.

Wrap the paper around the container and use glue or tape to secure it.

I applied two coats of gold acrylic paint to the lid and the whole project only took about 10 minutes!
